About me

Hi, I'm Marta!

I'm Italian, based in London, with a background in customer experience and retail management in the wellness industry. I've worked closely with customers, teams, and stakeholders, learning early on that what people say, what they do, and what actually works are often very different things. That perspective still shapes how I approach design today.

Before UX, I studied foreign languages at the University of Bologna, trained as a violinist at a conservatory, and started teaching dance at 13. I've always been drawn to psychology and understanding people, which is what led me to UX Design: I focus on creating thoughtful, user-centred experiences grounded in real insights, not assumptions.

Outside of work, I'm inspired by art in all its forms, from music and dance to painting and literature, especially Japanese writing. I love how different creative disciplines connect and influence each other. They feed my creativity and help me bring fresh perspectives into my work.

I'm naturally curious, and UX is one of the few fields where that curiosity is part of the job.
