About me
Hi, I'm Marta! 👋
I'm an Italian UX/UI Designer based in London.
The Work: I come from customer experience and retail management in the wellness industry. I've worked closely with customers, teams, and stakeholders, learning early on that what people say, what they do, and what actually works are rarely the same thing. That perspective still shapes how I approach design today.
The Background: I studied foreign languages at the University of Bologna, trained as a violinist at a conservatory, and started teaching dance at 13. I've always been drawn to psychology and people, which is what led me to UX Design: I care about understanding problems properly before trying to solve them.
Also: Naturally curious. Detail-oriented. I'm inspired by art in all its forms: music, dance, painting, Japanese literature... Not as hobbies to list, but because moving between different creative disciplines genuinely broadens my perspective.
